Pick a Provider Path
For the first model setup, choose the path most likely to succeed. Do not start by comparing every provider.
Recommended choices

Minimum decision
For the built-in free trial, confirm that the model returns a normal reply in the UI. When connecting your own provider, also confirm:
- you can get authentication details
- you know which model to use
- you can get one normal reply in the UI
Free-trial access uses a public gateway. Limits and models may change, and it is not appropriate for sensitive or confidential data. Configure your own provider when you need stable quotas, a defined data contract, or a specific model.
